Where technovation make city smart

VishwaHack 1.0, hosted by Vishwakarma Government Engineering College and organized by GTU Central TechFest 2018, aims to bring best coders, developers, designers, innovators, creators and entrepreneurs of tomorrow together.



    • Participants can be from any colleges/universities in U.G./P.G./Other program.
    • Team can consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 members.
    • Participants should choose a problem related to "Smart City" theme and work on its solution from the given set of domains.There is no predefined problem statement as such. The participants can choose problems from different sectors like health, education, climate, transport, etc.
    • Registration is mandatory. Registration does not confirm your participation.The participants will be carefully selected by the mentors based on the submitted abstract/synopsis, technology stack, and the novelty of the idea.
    • Selected teams will be notified 10 days prior to the competition.
    • Accommodation (space to rest during the constant 28 hours contest), lunch/dinner and internet connectivity will be provided during the event hours.
    • The participants must bring their own softwares and hardwares that are required for their prototype/model/solution.
    • All the teams must remain present during the entire hackathon.
    • The teams are free to use any tools and develop any application under the selected topics. However the code should not breach the terms and conditions of any embedded software or services used by your application and violate any law or third party's rights.
    • No plagiarism will be tolerated in any form whatsoever.
    • Pitching/demonstration of an idea at the end of coding hours is mandatory.
    • The decisions of the judges will be final.
    • The organizers have every right if found guilty to remove, disqualify or in any way prevent a project from demonstration.
